Pepper Communications Group has been mandated to manage public relations for Apis India Limited, as the brand looks to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive FMCG sector and build a more structured communications framework across stakeholders.
Apis India, listed on the BSE under the code 506166, draws on three generations of trading experience and has established itself in sourcing, producing and supplying food products. Formally established in 1983, the company expanded into the B2C segment in 2016 with its consumer brand Apis. Over the years, it has built a reputation for consistency in quality, supported by strong distribution networks and expansion across domestic and international markets.
The new mandate will focus on developing a cohesive communications strategy that highlights the company’s four-decade legacy while strengthening its corporate narrative and consumer engagement. PCG will be responsible for strategic media relations, brand perception management and targeted storytelling designed to enhance visibility across key stakeholder groups.
The engagement will also include leadership positioning and structured content development, aimed at building a more consistent and professional public-facing identity for the brand. A key focus will be strengthening Apis India’s voice across business and digital platforms, including a dedicated LinkedIn-led communication strategy.
Roshan Mohan, group managing director at PCG, said, “We are delighted to partner with Apis India, a brand that embodies trust, heritage, and quality in the FMCG space. Our strategic communications expertise will help amplify their rich legacy while positioning the brand for the next phase of growth through insightful storytelling and targeted media engagement. We look forward to strengthening Apis India’s voice across business and consumer platforms, including a focused LinkedIn strategy.”
Naagesh Mishra, head of marketing at Apis India Limited, said, “As we expand our footprint and deepen our connection with consumers, a strong and strategic communications partner is essential. We are excited to collaborate with PCG to elevate our corporate narrative, enhance stakeholder interactions, and take our brand communication to the next level.”
The partnership reflects a growing emphasis within FMCG companies on structured storytelling and reputation management as key drivers of brand equity. With increasing competition in the packaged food and wellness segments, companies are focusing on consistent narrative building to support both consumer trust and business expansion.
PCG’s approach will integrate heritage-led storytelling with modern digital positioning, ensuring that Apis India’s legacy is communicated alongside its evolving market ambitions. This includes strengthening its presence across media channels and enhancing engagement with both business and consumer audiences.
The partnership also marks an expansion of PCG’s footprint in the FMCG category, where integrated communications strategies are increasingly being used to align brand heritage with contemporary market expectations. Through this mandate, PCG aims to support Apis India in building a stronger, more recognisable and strategically positioned corporate identity.
PCG, founded in 2011, is an integrated communications consultancy offering public relations, media outreach and stakeholder engagement services. The company also operates Tharaa Labs, an AI-driven content and digital studio based in Dubai, focused on generative AI-led content creation, multilingual production and brand storytelling at scale.
