Niva Bupa Health Insurance has elevated Rahul Chatterjee to senior vice president and head of marketing, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to invest in brand building, consumer engagement and corporate communications.
In his expanded role, Chatterjee will continue to oversee Niva Bupa’s integrated marketing function, including brand strategy, consumer marketing, public relations, media, digital marketing, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement. The move recognises his contribution to the company’s brand transformation and market positioning efforts over the years.
Chatterjee brings more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer health and insurance. Prior to joining Niva Bupa, he held marketing and brand leadership roles at GSK Consumer Healthcare, now Haleon, Sanofi, Cipla and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. During his career, he has managed brand portfolios, marketing strategy, market research, profit and loss responsibilities and go-to-market execution across multiple categories.
At Niva Bupa, Chatterjee has played a key role in shaping the company’s brand and communications strategy. His work has focused on strengthening consumer trust, enhancing brand salience and creating a differentiated presence within the health insurance sector through integrated campaigns, strategic media engagement and purpose-led storytelling.
