Vigor Media Worldwide has been appointed as the public relations agency for The Fan Studio following a multi-agency pitch process. Under the mandate, the agency will manage communications and media outreach for the designer fan brand as it seeks to strengthen visibility and support its expansion plans in India and overseas markets.
The account will be handled from Vigor Media Worldwide’s Delhi-NCR office, with additional support from the agency’s network of associates across India and international markets. A dedicated team will oversee strategic communications, media relations and brand-building initiatives aimed at enhancing The Fan Studio’s market presence and reinforcing its positioning within the designer home décor segment.
The Fan Studio entered the designer fan category at a time when the segment had relatively few specialised players in India. Since its launch, the company has focused on creating custom-made ceiling fans that combine functionality with craftsmanship, offering products designed to meet individual customer requirements.
Today, the brand’s portfolio includes a range of bespoke fan designs featuring handcrafted detailing and influences drawn from traditional crafts. Over the years, the company has worked with a variety of materials and finishes, incorporating elements such as marble inlay work, metal carvings and woodwork into its collections.
As part of the new mandate, Vigor Media Worldwide will focus on highlighting these differentiators through targeted media engagement and strategic storytelling. The agency’s objective is to increase awareness of the brand’s design-led approach while supporting its broader business and market expansion goals.
Prateek Shah, director, The Fan Studio, said: "Over the years, we have worked on a simple idea that a ceiling fan can be more than a functional product. Every design that leaves our workshop carries a certain amount of craftsmanship and individuality. As we take the brand to newer markets, we wanted a communications partner that understands our journey and the category we operate in. We look forward to working with Vigor Media Worldwide in this next phase of growth."
The appointment reflects The Fan Studio’s increasing focus on strategic communications as it expands into new markets and seeks to strengthen its brand narrative among consumers, architects, interior designers and hospitality stakeholders.
Nikhil Singhal, founder, Vigor Media Worldwide, said: "The Fan Studio occupies a unique space in the market. While most brands in the category focus on utility, it has built its reputation around design and customization. The company also has an interesting legacy and a strong story behind its products. Our effort will be to bring these aspects to the forefront through focused communication and media outreach."
A key element of the communications strategy is expected to centre on the company’s heritage and craftsmanship-led positioning. The Fan Studio is part of the TULLU Group, a manufacturing business with roots dating back to 1958. Established in 2005, The Fan Studio was created to bring handcrafted design principles into a category traditionally driven by utility and function.
Its products have since been installed across luxury hotels, resorts and residential properties in India and international markets. The brand’s emphasis on customisation and artisanal detailing has helped it establish a niche position within the premium interiors and lifestyle segment.
For Vigor Media Worldwide, the win further strengthens its portfolio across lifestyle and consumer-focused categories. The agency works across sectors including real estate, education, lifestyle, FMCG, hospitality, healthcare, technology, security and consulting. Its communications practice focuses on strategic media engagement and stakeholder communications designed to build stronger connections between brands and their audiences.
Through the partnership, both organisations aim to increase visibility for The Fan Studio’s design philosophy and craftsmanship credentials while supporting the company’s continued growth in the premium home and hospitality sectors.
