Netcore launches Audience Agent for marketers

Netcore has introduced a conversational AI agent designed to simplify audience segmentation and accelerate campaign execution for marketing teams.

Netcore has launched Audience Agent, a conversational segmentation agent designed to simplify and accelerate audience creation for marketing teams. The new product enables marketers to build, refine and manage customer segments using natural language, removing the need for complex manual configurations traditionally associated with segmentation platforms.

The launch addresses what Netcore describes as one of the most significant operational challenges in modern marketing: creating and managing audience segments at scale. Audience segmentation forms the foundation of digital marketing campaigns, yet many teams continue to rely on complex dashboards, multiple rule sets and manual workflows to define and refine target audiences.

According to the company, even relatively simple audience-building tasks often require marketers to navigate multiple interfaces, configure detailed rules, combine customer attributes and recreate workflows whenever changes are required. These processes can slow campaign deployment, limit testing opportunities and reduce targeting precision.

Audience Agent has been developed to replace these manual processes with a conversational interface. Instead of building segments step by step, marketers can describe their intended audience in natural language. The system then generates the segment, retains context throughout the conversation and updates audience definitions as new instructions are provided.

The product forms part of Netcore’s broader agentic marketing strategy, which focuses on developing AI-powered systems capable of operating with memory, context and ongoing optimisation. Audience Agent joins the company’s existing suite of AI-powered capabilities, including its Insights and multimodal search agents.

A key feature of the platform is its ability to maintain conversational context across multiple refinements. Marketers can narrow audiences, apply exclusions, introduce geographic filters or add behavioural signals without having to rebuild segmentation logic from the beginning. This approach is intended to create a more flexible workflow while reducing the complexity of audience management.

Netcore has also designed the system to incorporate business-specific intelligence. Rather than applying generic definitions, Audience Agent interprets terms such as 'high-value', 'dormant' or 'at-risk' based on each organisation’s internal business logic and customer definitions. The company says this enables segmentation to better reflect individual business strategies and objectives.

According to Netcore, Audience Agent can reduce audience creation time by up to 90%, allowing marketing teams to execute campaigns more quickly, increase experimentation and improve targeting precision throughout the customer journey.

The platform also aims to address concerns around transparency and trust in enterprise AI adoption. Rather than operating as a closed system, Audience Agent displays segmentation logic directly on the platform canvas in real time. This allows marketers to review, edit and validate all rules before activating campaigns.

Users can modify AI-generated inputs manually, maintain visibility into segmentation decisions and reverse changes when required. Netcore says this approach provides greater control while preserving the benefits of automation.

Kalpit Jain, group ceo, Netcore Cloud, said: "For years, segment builders have been designed around database logic – events, attributes, and operators. That's how machines think. It's not how marketers think. Marketers think in terms like 'my best customers' or 'people who browse but never buy.' The audience agent speaks that language. And it learns each brand's specific definitions over time. That's the difference between AI that assists and AI that understands."

The launch comes as brands face increasing pressure to improve personalisation, reduce inefficient acquisition spending and operate with greater agility. As businesses move towards always-on customer engagement strategies, the ability to create and adapt audience segments in real time has become increasingly important.

Discussing the broader significance of the launch, Netcore said: "What’s changing in marketing right now is bigger than automation. For years, marketers have been forced to adapt themselves to the limitations of software – clicking through workflows, manually configuring logic, and constantly rebuilding segments every time the strategy changes. Audience Agent flips that model. The system adapts to the marketer, not the other way around. This is the beginning of marketing systems that understand intent, preserve context, and continuously evolve alongside the business. The real opportunity isn’t saving a few hours of execution time. It’s unlocking the level of experimentation, precision, and decision-making speed that most teams simply couldn’t operate at before."

With Audience Agent, Netcore continues to expand its agentic marketing portfolio, focusing on helping brands transition from manual campaign execution towards more autonomous, outcome-driven marketing systems.
