Wondrlab has appointed Alok Mahadevia as lead content, strengthening its creative leadership team with a global advertising professional whose experience spans multiple international markets, including the United States, the Middle East and India.
Based in Mumbai, Mahadevia joins Wondrlab with more than 15 years of experience in advertising and creative communications. His appointment forms part of the network’s ongoing efforts to build a platform-driven model that integrates creativity, culture, technology and commerce.
Mahadevia spent over a decade working in the United States across several agencies and organisations, including Leo Burnett Chicago, DoorDash New York, 160/90 Los Angeles and Saatchi & Saatchi, before returning to India. During this period, he worked across a broad portfolio of global brands and categories, contributing to campaigns designed for diverse audiences and markets.
His client experience includes brands such as Samsung, DoorDash, Toyota, Lightlife, IKEA, Spotify, HSBC and the NFL. The varied portfolio reflects expertise across technology, mobility, retail, entertainment, financial services and consumer marketing.
Among his notable achievements is a Clio Gold-winning campaign for Samsung’s Olympics Chant Ad. The campaign generated more than 20 million views on YouTube and led to the creation of a tagline that was later adopted as Samsung’s global brand line for several years. The work also secured a shortlist at Cannes.
Mahadevia’s industry recognition includes a Clio Entertainment Silver, an Andy Silver and a One Show Merit. He has also contributed to the wider creative industry through jury roles at both The One Show and the PHNX Awards.
At Wondrlab, he will be responsible for leading content and creative initiatives as the network continues to expand its integrated marketing and communications capabilities. The appointment reflects the company’s focus on combining creative excellence with business impact in an increasingly interconnected media and marketing landscape.
