Weekend Fun : Haider, Champions League T20 and Barclays Premier League

Axwell and Sabastian Ingrosso to rock Mumbai on 26 September

Vishal Bharadwaj's Haider is set for release on 2 October. The film, which comes after his critically acclaimed ‘Matroo ki Bijlee ka Mandola’, is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Tabu.

Champions League T20 cricket is in full swing this weekend. India’s Kings XI Punjab features in the late start game on 26 September. Cricket fans can look forward to a weekend of non-stop action as the teams make a final push for the semi finals. Only nine games remain in the group stages.

And finally, it’s derby weekend as the Barclays Premier League is back with the highly anticipated Merseyside derby and the North London derby. Old rivalries will be renewed as Liverpool takes on Everton and Arsenal takes on Tottenham Hotspurs.

All the sporting action can be caught on the Star Sports network.
