WPP Media leads new business rankings in India with $178.8 million in billings in the first quarter of 2026, according to the latest COMvergence Q1 2026 India New Business Barometer. The report tracked 18 pitches worth a combined $316 million during the period.
Across the quarter, WPP Media recorded 11 wins (7 new wins + 4 retentions) in India. Notable client wins and retentions in India during Q1 2026 include Reckitt, JSW Motors, Jaguar-Land Rover, Godrej Properties, Nothing Technology, AirBnB, Red Bull, Valvoline, Agilus, Alkem Laboratories, Zee Bullet, and many more.
WPP Media also retained four accounts during the quarter, with retained billings of $179 million and a retention rate of 74%.
Globally, COMvergence ranked WPP Media as the top media group for new business in the first quarter of 2026, with $1.5 billion in total billings, driven by major account wins including Jaguar Land Rover and Estée Lauder. Among the agency brands, both Wavemaker and EssenceMediacom ranked #1 and #2 respectively globally for new business value.
