Samsung pushes LED TVs in new campaign

Samsung has unveiled a campaign to push its recently-launched range of LED TVs. “The objective of the communication initiative is to establish LED TV as a different category of televisions and not another FPTV (Flat Panel TV as in LCD/ Plasma),” said the company’s spokesperson. “It also aims to reiterate Samsung’s premium position in the Indian market.”

Targeting 30-40 year olds with high incomes and social status, the Cheil-developed communication aims to engage with early technology adopters and trend leaders who are willing to pay for new technology and design.

Based around the creative concept, “New Species of Television”, the TVC showcases the superior picture quality of LED TV through the unique feature of image transforming. It also highlights the product’s razor slim design.
