Dabur India has extended the mandate of Bates 141 by handing over the creative duties of its newly-launched premium skin-care range, Dabur Uveda, to the agency. Bates 141 won the account without a pitch.

Speaking to Campaign India about the win, Sandeep Pathak, CEO, Bates 141 said, "We are delighted that Dabur has reposed confidence in us by trusting us with the Uveda franchise. It further consolidates and strengthens our relationship with Dabur, which is one of our valuable clients out of the Delhi office. We have been working with the Dabur team on the development of Uveda for the last 12-15 months. It's an honest yet challenging foray into skin care and we believe that we have the right package for an impactful launch, which will unfold over the next few weeks."

Bates 141 already handles other Dabur brands such as the Dabur Gulabari skin-care range and some oral care products like Dabur Lal Dant Manjan.

Dabur has signed Vidya Balan as Uveda’s brand ambassador.  With this launch, the company has made a foray into the rapidly growing premium skin-care segment. The campaign that will be built around the brand’s positioning “Beauty that glows from within” is expected to break soon.
