Less than a year after being elevated as managing partner, Isobar, Rahul Vengalil has decided to leave the agency. Vengalil had joined Isobar for his second stint in 2020 as chief business officer.
He had previously worked with the agency between 2011 and 2017. In 2017, he turned entrepreneur with the launch of What Clicks.
He has also worked with Interactive Avenues, Diligent Media Corporation and Technofirst.
Over the last year, dentsu has seen several high-profile exits, which included its chief client officer, Narayan Devanathan. Other exits included, Sidharth Rao, CEO, dentsuMB Group India, Titus Upputuru (NCD, Taproot dentsu), Ayesha Ghosh (CEO, Taproot dentsu), PG Aditiya (CCO, dentsu Webchutney), Gautam Reghunath, (CEO, dentsu Webchutney), Haresh Nayak (president, and MD, Posterscope), Shamsuddin Jasani (MD - South Asia, Isobar), Anand Bhadkamkar (CEO, dentsu India), Gautam Mehra (chief data and product officer, Apac); Rubeena Singh (CEO, iProspect); and Vivek Bhargava (head of Dentsu Performance Group).
