Gary Scattergood has joined PRWeek Asia as its new editor, based in Singapore.

He joins Haymarket from the UK, where he has spent the last three years editing market-leading business magazines and websites covering the food-and-drink and travel-retail industries.

He started his career on regional newspapers in the UK, ultimately editing three titles, and has freelanced for the UK national press.

"It’s great to be at PRWeek Asia, and I’m really looking forward to meeting as many people as possible," Scattergood said. "We want to build on the amount of coverage, insight and opinion we provide to reflect the vibrant nature of the industry in the region, so please feel free to contact me at any time."
