PR Professionals, the integrated communications firm and flagship agency of the PRP Group, has appointed Rohit Sharma as vice president – client relations and content. The appointment is part of the firm’s broader effort to deepen leadership capability as it expands operations across India and multiple industry sectors.
Sharma brings more than 22 years of experience across public relations, corporate communications, content management, reputation and brand management, corporate social responsibility, sales and marketing, and global stakeholder and media relations. His role at PR Professionals will involve leading the client relations and content verticals, with responsibility for strengthening strategic counsel and execution for clients across infrastructure, education, climate action, governance and consumer sectors.
Academically, Sharma is a mechanical engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, and a gold medallist in master’s in international business from Amity University. His professional background combines analytical expertise with experience in managing complex communications programmes across diverse business environments. Over the course of his career, he has held senior positions at Bharti Realty Limited, now known as Bharti Real Estate, Uflex Limited, Thermax Limited, Sharaf Trading LLC in Dubai, Global March Against Child Labour under the office of Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, and Viviid Emissions Reductions Universal Private Limited.
At PR Professionals, Sharma will focus on strengthening long-term client relationships and developing content-led communication strategies aligned with organisational and sectoral priorities. His remit includes integrating storytelling with stakeholder engagement to support clients’ reputational and business objectives. The firm positions this role as central to reinforcing its offering as a fully integrated communications partner.

The appointment comes at a time when PR Professionals is expanding its leadership footprint across key markets. Over the past year, the firm has onboarded senior professionals in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Lucknow, Patna and Vijayawada, enhancing its capabilities across public relations, digital communications and video production. In 2025, the agency added nearly 60 professionals nationwide, taking its total team strength to 250. During the same period, it partnered with 75 new brands across multiple sectors.
