NDTV has appointed Siddharth Narula as revenue head – NDTV 24x7 and NDTV Profit Brand Studio, strengthening its focus on integrated brand partnerships and content-led revenue models.
Narula brings over 25 years of experience in media and digital revenue leadership, with expertise spanning cross-platform monetisation, brand solutions, OTT ecosystems and data-driven growth frameworks. Throughout his career, he has developed revenue models across television, web, social media and OTT platforms while managing multi-market operations across India and international territories. His experience spans the intersection of content, product, technology and analytics, where he has worked on designing sustainable commercial strategies for evolving media ecosystems.
Prior to joining NDTV, Narula served as chief revenue officer at Zee Digital, where he oversaw revenue operations across OTT, web, social and digital publishing platforms. In that role, he worked on scaling monetisation strategies while integrating brand partnerships within digital-first media environments.
He also previously held the position of chief revenue officer at Culture Machine, where he managed digital business operations across India, North America and the APAC region. His work involved building revenue pipelines across digital video networks, branded content initiatives and platform-led partnerships.
Earlier in his career, Narula held leadership roles at global and Indian media organisations including The Walt Disney Company, Bloomberg UTV, CNBC, ESPN, Sony and NDTV. These roles provided experience in broadcast strategy, digital transformation and the development of integrated brand solutions across multiple platforms.
In his new position, Narula will lead the revenue strategy for NDTV 24x7 and NDTV Profit Brand Studio. His mandate includes strengthening premium brand partnerships, developing integrated storytelling formats and building scalable monetisation frameworks aligned with the network’s editorial positioning.
Announcing the appointment, Rahul Kanwal said, “As we scale NDTV 24x7 and NDTV Profit Brand Studio, revenue streams must be as intelligent and purposeful as our journalism. Siddharth brings the experience required to build long-term, innovation-led brand conversations that add value to our viewers.”
The appointment comes as NDTV continues to expand its English news and business offerings, with increasing emphasis on platform-native content formats and brand-led storytelling initiatives. The network has been investing in integrated content solutions that allow advertisers to collaborate with editorial environments while maintaining a clear distinction between journalism and brand messaging.
Commenting on his appointment, Narula said, “NDTV’s credibility offers a powerful foundation for building meaningful, trust-based brand partnerships. My focus will be on creating revenue frameworks that are future-ready, data-informed, and aligned with the integrity of the newsroom.”
His appointment signals NDTV’s intent to expand its content marketing and branded storytelling capabilities, particularly through NDTV Profit Brand Studio. The focus will be on developing formats that bring brands, content and audiences together through cohesive narrative-driven partnerships designed for television and digital platforms.
