MMGB: Nike gets French footballer Matuidi to 'spark brilliance'

Watch the ad film conceptualised by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam here

Whether you were in Goa or not, it's been a long weekend.

Cure your hangover from the weekend, and get ready to 'spark brilliance' with this film from Nike which has been conceptualised by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam.

The film features French footballer Blaise Matuidi, who recalls the spark of football brilliance that ignited his passion for the game in a new ad for Nike.

It opens on a young Matuidi glimpsing a well-struck volley by the former PSG star Jay-Jay Okocha on TV. This is the catalyst for Matuidi, who is shown progressing from playground to the international stage as a member of the French squad. The 90-second ad first aired on TV in France and was then promoted around the world on digital channels.
