Mudra Communications has won a Globe at the MAA Globes Awards held in Boston, which honour the best in promotion marketing programmes across the world.The agency won for its ‘Women on wheels – TVS Institute’ campaign for TVS Motors in the category Best Activity Generating Brand Loyalty. Mudra also won an Order of Merit certificate in Best Small Budget campaign for its ‘Iron Man’ case study for Park Avenue.
SABMiller has brought TEQUILA\India on board to activate a multi-city consumer connect programme, ‘Passion Hour’, for its recently launched beer brand: Indus Pride.Built around the creative concept, ‘Be passionate about anything that means a lot to you’, the programme involves consumers taking ‘Passion Tests’ in large format bars by answering questions about Bollywood and Cricket. Every right answer wins a pint of Indus Pride beer.
Omnicom-owned TBWA has appointed Shiv Sethuraman as the chief executive officer for its India operations. Based in Mumbai, Sethuraman will take up the role in June this year and will work alongside K Geoge John, chairman and MD, TBWA India, for the time being.Sethuraman comes in from Ogilvy & Mather, Paris, where he held the post of managing director since 2005. He moved to Paris in 2001 from O&M Mumbai to oversee the agency’s Nestle Dairy business across 22 markets.
