One Show Interactive changes to quarterly entry system

The One Show has introduced a quarterly entry system, as opposed to the annual entry system that has become the industry norm.  Entries will be posted on the One Show Interactive site and will be viewable by the general public in real-time. Once work appears on the site it will trigger the system’s social networking features, (updates on Facebook and Twitter), effectively attempting to promote the entrant’s work.

Live from New York, O&M’s ‘Stomach’ campaign wins Bronze Pencil

The 2008 One Show awards night saw India bag one Bronze Pencil at the gala reception held in New York on Wednesday night.  The winning campaign was from O&M India for its entry titled ‘Stomach’ for GlaxoSmithKline which won a Bronze Pencil in the Posters campaign category. The tally is disappointing given that India had sent in a total of 791 entries to The One Show, this year.
