Abhijit Pradhan, director sales and marketing, Midday Multimedia has put in papers and is believed to be planning his own venture. His current responsibilities will be divided between Gaurish Pathare, sales and Neville Bastawalla, marketing who will be reporting to Manajit Ghoshal, CEO. Abhijit has been with Midday Multimedia for a year and a half.
MiD DAY celebrated its 29th anniversary by offering its readers a 24 page supplements called Cash, Go, Stuff, Me and Play for five days across Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Delhi. The Cash supplement is about how to earn more, spend and invest smart. Go is a section on vehicles and travel. Stuff deals with brands and trends in the marketplace. Me section will addresses the need to balance personal and work life at various levels. The section Play showcases the best eats, beats and streets in the city
MiD DAY has introduced a new distribution system by setting up vending machines in corporate offices and buildings across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Through this, MiD DAY wants to engage urban professionals within the space of their working day.
MiD DAY has won the Global INMA (International Newspaper Marketing Association) award in the print advertising, sales and retention category. It has also won awards in the second place for new marketing services category and public relations and community service category. INMA had received entries from 39 countries.
MiD DAY has revamped its weekly section on real estate, Hot Property. The supplement will appear in a new format starting this week. The first two issues of the section will be guest edited by real estate developer Niranjan Hiranandani (pictured).
