Three Indian winners at Intercontinental Advertising Cup

Taproot India, Contract Advertising and RMG Connect bagged top honours at the fourth Intercontinental Advertising Cup. Entries were short listed from finalists and winners of some of the regional advertising festivals like Asia Pacific's ADFEST, Ibero-American FIAP, Art Directors Club of Europe and GOLDEN DRUM, New Europe. All entries were considered three times, first in the Products and Services section regardless of the media, second in the Best of Media section and finally in the Best of Ad Making section.

Taproot India managed to win under the 'Best of Admaking' section in the 'Best of Craft' category with their entry titled 'Colors of India' for Transasia India's Conqueror Paper. Under the 'Best of Product and Services' section, Contract Advertising won the award for its work titled 'New National Animal' for Sanctuary Magazine in the 'Best of Public and Private Services' category. RMG Connect bagged the top spot for their work on Fujifilm Finepix Cameras print campaign titled 'Funeral / Airport / Poker' in the 'Best of Press' category under the 'Best of Media' section. 
 
The short listed entries were judged by a jury comprising of Celso Loducca, president of Loducca, Brazil - president of the Jury, Michael Conrad, president of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, Ravi Deshpande, chairman and chief creative officer, Contract Advertising India, Mumbai, Ted Lim, deputy chairman and executive creative director, Naga DDB Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Brett Mitchell, digital director, Droga5 Sydney, Australia, Johannes Newrkla, ADC*E Board, Founder and CEO, Bluetango, Austria, Jan Pautsch, head of creative, Scholz & Friends Berlin, Germany, Karpat Polat, president, creative director, DDB&Co Istanbul, Turkey, Martin Spillmann, partner and executive creative director, Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett Zürich, Switzerland and Jose Molla, co-chief creative officer and co-founder, La Comunidad, Buenos Aires, Miami.
