St. Regis Mumbai names Radhika Mathur marketing head

The luxury hotel strengthens its communications leadership with a seasoned hospitality marketer to drive brand strategy and integrated outreach.

The St. Regis Mumbai has appointed Radhika Mathur as director of marketing and communications. In her new role, she will oversee brand strategy, public relations, digital presence, and integrated communications, with a mandate to further strengthen the hotel’s positioning within Mumbai’s luxury hospitality landscape.

Mathur brings over a decade of experience across luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands, with expertise spanning brand storytelling, reputation management, and strategic positioning. Her appointment reflects a continued focus on building differentiated narratives and enhancing visibility across both traditional and digital channels in a competitive premium segment.

Prior to this, Mathur held leadership roles at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, where she progressed from marketing communications manager to director of public relations. During a key phase of redevelopment, she led the relaunch of AER, renovated guest rooms, and Opus. Her work focused on crafting clear and consistent narratives that drove guest traction while reinforcing the hotel’s presence across luxury media platforms. This included managing cross-functional teams, leading agency partnerships, and ensuring brand consistency during a period of transformation.

Her earlier experience includes leading marketing communications at Fairmont Jaipur, where she worked on positioning the property within the luxury travel and hospitality segment. She also served as a 360° marketing consultant with Templatolio, a Hotelivate-affiliated agency, where she developed brand-building and digital storytelling strategies for hospitality portfolios including Ibis, Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon, and Radisson properties across key Indian markets.

Mathur’s experience reflects a strong alignment with integrated brand-building approaches that combine PR, digital storytelling, and experiential positioning. Her focus on narrative-led engagement and media visibility is particularly relevant in the luxury hospitality sector, where brand perception and guest experience are closely linked.

Mathur holds an MBA in global hospitality management from Les Roches, Switzerland, and a bachelor of arts in psychology from Fergusson College, University of Pune. Her approach combines analytical thinking with creative storytelling, aimed at delivering cohesive and impactful brand communication.

The appointment signals a continued emphasis by The St. Regis Mumbai on strengthening its brand equity through integrated marketing efforts. As luxury hospitality becomes increasingly competitive, the role of strategic communications in shaping perception, driving engagement, and maintaining relevance across audiences continues to grow.

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts operates nearly 40 luxury hotels and resorts globally, combining heritage with contemporary sensibilities. The brand remains focused on delivering bespoke guest experiences, supported by its signature service ethos and evolving global footprint.
