Delhi NCR-based News Nation has appointed Tarun Goswami as its marketing head. Sources close to the development informed Campaign that his joining has already been officiated.

In this new role, Goswami will report into chief business officer Bhuwan Bhatt. He will be responsible for managing the marketing strategy development for News Nation as well as handling its brand promotions, integrations and communications. He will also preside over marketing activities for the Hindi news channel, including communications, above-the-line (ATL), below-the-line (BTL) initiatives.

Campaign has reached out to News Nation for comments, but no response was received till the time this report was published.

Goswami was earlier with Jagran Prakashan as chief manager for strategy and development and spent close to a decade with the media outfit. He handled its strategy and development and also led its ‘Hindi Hain Hum’ and special editorial integration projects. He was also part of the core team that was responsible for the Jagran Film Festival.

During his 18-year-long career, Goswami has been associated with other media companies, including Amar Ujala, Rajkamal Prakashan and Delhi Press.
