Publicis Groupe South Asia has appointed Supraja Srinivasan as vice-president and head of corporate communications. In this role, she will report to Anupriya Acharya, chief executive officer of Publicis Groupe South Asia, and will oversee internal and external communications, brand reputation and B2B and digital communications across the region.
Srinivasan brings more than 16 years of experience in corporate communications, brand strategy and business journalism across Indian and international markets. She joins the Groupe after seven years at BookMyShow, where she led public relations and corporate communications across India, Southeast Asia and the UAE. Before BookMyShow, she held senior journalism positions at The Economic Times, Bloomberg TV India and CNBC-TV18, and has been recognised for her work in public narrative strategy.
Acharya said the appointment strengthens the leadership team at a time when the Groupe is expanding its differentiated client solutions driven by data, content and AI-led capabilities. She added that Srinivasan’s strategic approach and communications expertise will support the next phase of growth following five years of sustained performance.
Srinivasan said she is pleased to join the organisation at a moment of significant opportunity. She highlighted the potential of the Groupe’s ‘Power of One’ model, which integrates creativity, data, technology and media to deliver unified solutions. She noted that she aims to develop narratives that reflect this innovation, while enhancing thought leadership and engagement with clients, partners and internal teams as the organisation supports brands navigating the future of marketing.
With this appointment, Publicis Groupe South Asia reinforces its commitment to strengthening corporate communications and deepening its strategic visibility in the region.
