Kinder Joy launches DC-themed Funko Pop! collection in India

Kinder Joy has unveiled a limited-edition DC-inspired Funko POP! collection in India, marking the brand’s first collaboration of this kind with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. The initiative brings together the confectionery brand’s signature format with nine collectable toys based on characters from the DC universe, created for older children who enjoy superhero-driven storytelling. The collection includes a custom DC-style pack in addition to the regular Kinder Joy range.

A key highlight is the introduction of the Golden Batman Funko POP! collectable, available for the first time in Kinder Joy packs. Consumers who find the Golden Batman can participate in a contest offering daily DC-themed merchandise and a grand prize of a family trip to Warner Bros. Movie World in Australia. The broader toy range features characters such as Batman, Flash and Catwoman, and will be available for a limited period across India.

Each limited-edition pack retains the well-known Kinder Joy format. One half of the egg contains the confection made of two layers of milky sweet creams topped with two crispy wafer bites filled with cocoa cream, while the other half houses the DC-inspired toy.

To support the launch, Kinder Joy has released a new brand film focused on the excitement of discovery and imaginative play associated with the Funko POP! collectables. The brand will also activate a presence at Comic Con Delhi 2025, where visitors can explore a dedicated Kinder Joy pop-up, access exclusive giveaways and preview the full collection.

Zoher Kapuswala, marketing head at Ferrero India, says the limited-edition collaboration and the search for the Golden Batman are intended to engage fans and encourage narrative-led play.

The Kinder Joy DC Funko POP! collection is available through traditional trade outlets, modern retail stores and leading e-commerce platforms across India.
