JWT India added 20 metals on the final awards night of the Creative Abbys at Goafest 2014, taking its tally to 40, the most for an agency at this year’s competition. The agency closed its 2014 Abbys campaign on top of the table with a Grand Prix, five Gold, 13 Silver and 21 Bronze Abbys.
On the final night of the awards, which were distributed over three days, the agency bagged a Gold in the Print category for its campaign for Godrej Security. The agency also bagged five Silver and 14 Bronze awards.
Digital Law & Kenneth bagged the only Grand Prix awarded on the night. The agency’s entry ‘Half Stories - The Journey of Doing Right’ for Tata Capital won in the ‘Creative Use of Social Media’ sub-category of the Digital competition. The agency also bagged a Gold for the same entry, besides a Bronze.
Chrome Pictures won the most Gold awards on the night with two Gold wins in the Film Craft category for ‘Lifebuoy Gondappa’. The agency also bagged four Silver and one Bronze awards.
Scarecrow Communications won a Gold in the Radio category for its entry ‘Pinkesh’ for Nitco. The agency also bagged a Silver and three Bronze awards on the night.
Linen Advertising won a total of four awards on the night, of which one was Gold, in the Radio category, for ‘Shakti (Women's Empowerment Cell) Rape Confession 1’. The agency also bagged a Silver and Bronze.
DDB Mudra Group was another agency to bag a Gold before the curtains came down on Goafest 2014. The win was in the Digital category for its entry for Femina ‘Made of You’. The agency also notched two Bronze wins.
