Ashwin Gedam to head marketing and comms at Xpress Money

Money transfer brand Xpress Money has announced the appointment of Ashwin Gedam as vice president, global marketing and communications. He will be responsible for the overall brand, marketing and communication aspects globally.

Gedam moves from ICICI Bank, where he headed the corporate brand function for seven years, informed an Xpress Money statement.

Sudhesh Giriyan, VP and business head, Xpress Money, said, “We are very pleased to have such a seasoned and successful marketer join our team. Under the leadership of Ashwin Gedam and with our hands-on team of professionals globally, we look to scale new heights and move closer to our vision of being present in every country across the globe by the end of 2015. Gedam has spent 16 years cumulatively in advertising, banking and financial services. Prior to ICICI Bank, he has worked with BRICS Securities, Kotak Securities and Draftfcb-Ulka (now FCBUlka).
