Cadbury adds 'Glow' to another celebration of togetherness

Watch the ad film conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather

Cadbury has launched a  luxury chocolate gift offering called Glow. To communicate this, an ad film starring Bollywood actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Raj Kumar Yadav has been rolled out. The film has been conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather.

The couple are stuck mid air on a ferris wheel on the day of their anniversary dressed for a dinner rather than where they are. Hydari is all smiles as she looks out into the night sky, admiring how beautiful it is, while her partner seems frustrated. He voices the view that they would have been better off going to a nice restaurant. Hydari smiles and surprises Yadav with a box of Cadbury Glow, whilst wishing him a happy anniversary. As the couple enjoys the rich taste of the chocolates under the starlit sky, Hydari passes Yadav a scarf and asks him to wave it. Upon doing this, the Ferris wheel starts moving and Yadav realises that his wife had planned the stopping of the ferris wheel.

Siddhartha Mukherjee, director, chocolate category and Media, Mondelēz India Foods, said, “Cadbury Glow is an all-year round luxury gifting praline inspired by insight that ‘there is no greater joy than seeing your loved one’s face glow when they receive a gift’. The TVC beautifully captures this emotion - as Cadbury Glow along with the thoughtfulness of the wife, creates a moment which the husband cherishes and which brings a warm glow on his face.”
