Sees potential in other cities with metro connectivity; new digital avatar in three months
FritoLay, the snack arm of PepsiCo India, ran a media innovation on December 29 in alliance with MiD DAY Delhi to communicate the smaller packaging of its home-grown snack brand, Kurkure.
MiD-DAY has rolled out a Rs 6-crore integrated campaign reiterating its positioning as a fun, afternoon daily, that is consumed by young urban mobile professionals (YUMPIs) during their work hours.
Manajit Ghoshal has been appointed CEO of Midday Infomedia, which is a newly formed subsidiary company of Midday Multimedia that will include the print and dotcom business of the group. Ghoshal’s mandate will be to continue Midday’s multi-city and multi-media expansion plans. He will continue to be the CFO for the entire Midday group. Manajit joined the Midday group six years ago as CFO and was also made part of the strategic board of the company.
