Nishad Jagtap and Mithila Saraf to represent India this June
YouTube and Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival have announced the winners of their viral ad competition to promote WaterAid. The winning team becomes 'Team YouTube', the 40th team to compete in this year's Young Lions Film Competition in Cannes. There are no winners from India (or even Asia). Andrew Dobbie (25) who works at JWT Manchester, United Kingdom, and Rachel Wolak (28) who works at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Colorado, USA, are the winners.
Pradeep Ravindran, art director, (pictured left) and Shruti Sadani, copy writer (pictured right), of Mudra Communications, Bangalore were adjudged the winners in the national creative initiative taken by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and supported by The Times Group. YouTube in partnership with the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival has created a YouTube Cannes Young Lions 48 hour long ad contest. YouTube will fly the winners of this contest to Cannes to attend the festival.
