Nilay Kumar (pictured) has joined Hungama Mobile as assistant vice president, managed services business. Kumar joins from Comviva (erstwhile Bharti Telesoft), where he was deputy general manage, hubs and managed services. At Hungama Mobile, he will look after the managed services portfolio. Kumar will report to Albert Almeida, COO, Hungama Mobile.
Albert Almeida has joined Hungama Digital Media as chief operating officer for their mobile business.
Albert Almeida, executive vice president and business head, has quit Multi Screen Media (formerly called Sony Entertainment Television). He has confirmed the news to Campaign India.Almeida said, “Yes, it is true that I have quit. I have had a long and fruitful association with Sony and now another interesting opportunity has come my way. I won’t be able to talk about my next venture now.”A number of high level exits are expected in the course of the next few days according to reliable sources.
After CEO Kunal Dasgupta’s exit from Multi Screen Media (formerly called Sony Entertainment Television), it seems the interim CEO Man Jit Singh is looking at cleaning up the house. Yesterday, Campaign India reported that Albert Almeida, executive vice president and business head, had put in his papers.
