ACC appoints B Sridhar
 
ACC has appointed Sridhar Balakrishnan as its chief commercial officer with effect from July 2018. Sridhar joins ACC from Star India where he was the president and head – distribution.
 
Akshay Kumar is Harpic's brand ambassador 
 
Harpic has appointed Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador to drive its new mission of ‘Har Ghar Swachh’. Kumar is also brand ambassador of the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan'. 
 
Star Movies Select HD turns to short films
 
Star Movies Select HD has rolled out 'Select Short Stories'. This initiative will see Star Movies Select HD introducing Oscar award winning and nominated short films on Indian television. Additionally, Star Movies has released a contest asking viewers to write short films. Viewers have to share a concept or plot of their original short story via the channels’ official social media pages. One entry will be selected and developed into a short film that will be showcased on Star Movies Select HD.

White Rivers Media bags Canadian Wood's digital mandate
 
White Rivers Media has won the digital marketing mandate for Canadian Wood following a multi-agency pitch.
 
Forestry Innovation Investment (also known as Canadian Wood) is the crown agency of the government of British Columbia, the western most province in Canada. Started in the year 2013, its mandate is to promote sustainable and durable wood to India.
