Cleartrip, a Flipkart company and an online travel platform, has appointed Pallavi Saxena as chief marketing and revenue officer (CMRO). The appointment strengthens the company’s leadership team as it focuses on accelerating growth and strengthening its brand position in India’s competitive online travel category.
In her new role, Saxena will lead Cleartrip’s marketing and growth planning and insights charters. Her mandate includes building a more integrated approach across marketing, revenue generation and customer growth to support the platform’s next phase of expansion.
Saxena joins Cleartrip from Flipkart, where she spent over a decade working across several high-impact business categories. Most recently, she served as senior director leading the marketing, revenue and customer growth function in the Lifestyle category. During her tenure, she worked on scaling customer-centric strategies, category development and data-driven growth initiatives.
Her experience spans customer-first marketing strategy, category building and performance-led growth planning, areas that are expected to play a key role in Cleartrip’s marketing and business expansion strategy.

As CMRO, Saxena will focus on strengthening brand recall, improving marketing efficiency and aligning revenue strategy with Cleartrip’s broader customer engagement initiatives. Her role will involve integrating marketing and revenue functions to support sustainable growth and stronger customer relationships.

Launched in July 2006, Cleartrip Pvt Ltd. has grown into a travel technology platform in India. In April 2021, Flipkart acquired a majority stake in the company, integrating the travel platform into its broader ecosystem.
According to a study by VIDEC, Cleartrip recently emerged as the no. 2 OTA player in India. The appointment of Saxena is expected to further strengthen the company’s marketing and revenue capabilities as it seeks to expand its position in the online travel segment.
