Novartis' eye care brand Alcon has announced the appointment of Smriti Mandhana as brand ambassador. Mandhana will feature in a campaign titled ‘never compromise’ which celebrates the everyday struggles and successes of people to reach their dreams.
 
Dentsu Impact gets Carlsberg's social media mandate
 
Dentsu Impact has bagged the social media mandate of Carlsberg India. The agency's digital division, Dentsu Impact Digital will handle the mandate. Dentsu Impact also handles Carlsberg's mainline creative duties. 
 
HomeLane.com appoints Famous Innovations and GroupM
 
 HomeLane.com, an online provider of home interior solutions has announced a new tagline 'interiors made easy'. The tagline is part of its rebranding process for which it has appointed Famous Innovations as its creative partner and GroupM as its media agency. The mandate for the duo is to launch HomeLane’s first brand campaign with digital as the lead medium.
 
Entry deadline extended for I-Com Data Creativity Awards
 
The organisers of the I-Com Global Summit have announced an extended deadline for the Data Creativity Awards. The new entry deadline for the awards that celebrate creativity in leveraging value from data is 31 January 2019.

Mavcomm Consulting has won the strategic public relations duties of BluArmor. BluArmor manufactures and markets motorcycle gear. 
 
Pro Volleyball League gets Nippon Paint as associate sponsor
 
Nippon Paint has partnered with the upcoming Pro Volleyball League as associate sponsor for the first two seasons. The Pro Volleyball League is a tie-up between Baseline Ventures and the Volleyball Federation of India. The tournament is scheduled to begin on 2 February. 
 
WATConsult wins Columbia Pacific Communities’ digital mandate
 
WATConsult has won the 360-degree digital media mandate of Columbia Pacific Communities - developers of senior living communities in the United States and South East Asia. The mandate includes digital media marketing, social listening and ORM, digital content creation and SEO services. In addition to this, the agency will also be designing and developing the brand’s website. The account will be handled by the agency’s Bengaluru team.
