The group company unveiled the new logo in consonance with its ecological objectives and targets the global youth

The Vijay Munjal-led part of the Hero Group today unveiled a new global identity — Hero Eco, an umbrella brand under which the multiple business of the group will be consolidated.  During the press conference held in Le Meridian hotel, New Delhi, the company showcased its new refreshing face with a sharpened focus on the global youth.


Under this new set up, Hero Electric and Hero Exports will form part of the new Hero Eco identity. In the conference, the company also announced acquisition of Ultra Motors, a UK-based company and introduced medical equipment under the brand Mediva.

Delivering his speech, Vijay Munjal, chairman, Hero Electric and Hero Exports, said, “This new brand identity gives us the opportunity to present a single, powerful and dynamic face to our customers, stakeholders and partners around the world. The new logo and identity is in sync with our belief to take ahead our organisation keeping utmost care of our people, strive for best performance while nurturing our planet earth.”

"With the new identity, we will be foraying into high-end bicycles in India under a new brand Winn. We will also expand our medical equipment business under Mediva brand in a big way," he added

“The group is shaping up in several ways, especially ecology. This logo of a man riding a bicycle represents the how much our group is committed to environment. Although the group had six months back carried a rebranding, this move was necessary evolved out of our business needs,” said Sohinder Gill, chief executive officer, Hero Eco.
