UTV Bindass has appointed Heather Gupta as the channel head for UTV Bindass and UTV Bindass Movies. Gupta (pictured) will be overseeing all activities for the brand with a focus on marketing, including- TV, movies, events, web and mobile.
She has over 16 years of experience, including 12 years in marketing and advertising. She joined P&G in 1992 as a graduate trainee then moved into advertising with stints at McCann Erickson and JWT in London. She then moved to Thailand in 2001 to head the Unilever Asia Foods business with JWT Bangkok. After this, she moved to India to set up Unilever’s regional detergent team at Lintas and later the role of HR Head for Lintas in 2005.
Zarina Mehta, CEO, Bindass, said, “We are delighted to announce that Heather Gupta, currently Group VP, HRD for the UTV Group will now take on an additional role as channel head for Brand Bindass including Bindass and Bindass Movies.
