Sun TV launches Malayalam kids channel ‘Kochu TV’

Sun TV Network has launched a 24-hours Malayalam channel for kids – ‘Kochu TV’ from 16 October. In a press statement issued to BSE, the regional network informed that they are “targeting the children in the age group of 4 to 14 years.”

The channel will feature regional and international content including cartoons like Jackie Chan adventures, He-Man, etc. “Kochu TV would be the only exclusive kids channel where programmes are designed and developed to engage and stimulate kids' imagination during the early formative years,” the network added.

With this new channel, the regional broadcaster now has 21 channels across four south Indian languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
