South Africa to host IPL, season two

It is official. The second season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be held in South Africa this year. There is a consequent change in the series schedule. Instead of April 10th, the series will now take place from April 18 to May 24, 2009. The IPL has announced that a final schedule for the 59 matches and the host venues for the eight franchises will also be announced shortly.
