Rohini Gauthaman joins Media Direction as GM, Delhi

R K SWAMY BBDO has appointed Rohini Gauthaman as general manager, Media Direction, New Delhi. She joined the agency on April 20 and is reporting to Les Margulis, president, R K SWAMY BBDO's Media Direction.Prior to joining, Rohini was VP – planning, Lintas Media Group. She has also been with Allied Media and Hakuhodo, Mindshare, Enterprise. Gauthaman had earlier been with R K SWAMY BBDO at the Chennai office in 1994.

R K SWAMY BBDO has appointed Rohini Gauthaman as general manager, Media Direction, New Delhi. She joined the agency on April 20 and is reporting to Les Margulis, president, R K SWAMY BBDO's Media Direction.

Prior to joining, Rohini was VP – planning, Lintas Media Group. She has also been with Allied Media and Hakuhodo, Mindshare, Enterprise. Gauthaman had earlier been with R K SWAMY BBDO at the Chennai office in 1994.

In her role across agencies, she has been responsible for Maruti Suzuki, Luxor, BILT PVR Cinema, JVC, Panasonic, Yamaha Pianos, Canon, Toshiba, Konica, Sony, Dupont amongst other accounts.

Commenting on her new role, Gauthaman said, "I know that Media Direction has won quite a few awards this past year and I hope that my new team in Delhi and I can add to the list in 2010."   

Les Margulis, president, Media Direction said, "Rohini is smart, savvy and driven and I believe will take Media Direction, Delhi to new levels in 2010 and beyond."
