Rediffusion's president Rohit Misra calls it a day

Rohit Misra, president, Rediffusion Y&R has recently put in his papers in the agency. Misra (pictured) had joined the agency in February 2009.Speaking about his exit from the agency, Misra said, "My exit arises out of personal reasons. The direction the agency was taking was very different from where I wanted to take it. Hence, I decided it was best to part ways. However, I have really enjoyed my stint with Rediffusion and I'm very grateful to it."

Speaking about his exit from the agency, Misra said, "My exit arises out of personal reasons. The direction the agency was taking was very different from where I wanted to take it. Hence, I decided it was best to part ways. However, I have really enjoyed my stint with Rediffusion and I'm very grateful to it."

When asked what his next move would be, Misra said that he was serving his three month notice period. "I'm looking around for good opportunities, but nothing is final yet," he said.

Misra began his career in India with O&M Direct. Here, he worked on direct marketing strategy and implementation for clients like American Express, Xerox, British Airways and ITC hotels. He has also worked with Euro RSCG Worldwide as its regional vice president - Middle East.
