Ralph&Das gets V-Guard mandate
Ralph&das has bagged the creative duties for V-Guard. There was no multi-agency pitch. Prior to this, Fisheye Creative Solutions handled the account.

Ralph&Das will handle the complete portfolio, which consists of stabilisers, wires, fans, switch gears, electric water heaters, digital inverters, pumps, solar water heaters, induction cook tops and mixer grinders.

The company is in the midst of a branding exercise and Ralph&Das will play a role in partnering V-Guard on it, informed an agency statement.

Nandagopal Nair, head, corporate communications, V-Guard Industries, said, "We are delighted to partner with Ralph&Das (R&D) for all our strategic and creative endeavors on the brand. V-Guard is in the midst of one of its most ambitious projects – the repositioning exercise of the brand. Our communications agency will be partnering and working  with us intensively on this exciting exercise. We were also looking at our communications agency to be the extended arm of our marketing team and who would go beyond conventional advertising ideas and bring about refreshing marketing-oriented solutions to the table, which would add value to both our sales and marketing efforts. In R&D we found just that."

Kaustav Das, CEO, Ralph&Das, said, "V-Guard is an important win, Ralph&Das’ integrated DNA is honed to connect the dots between business needs, strategic vision and out of the box creative thinking and execution, this is the best opportunity we have to demonstrate that capability. We are grateful to be given this opportunity on a big brand like V-Guard."

Anil Ralph Thomas, director and CCO, Ralph&Das, added, "It is always heartening when you get to work with clients who are not only good but appreciate and look for good work and moreover with such interesting categories in their portfolio it’s a journey we are eagerly looking forward to”

Ralph&Das has executed two TVCs for V-Guard mixer grinders for Onam. A solar water heater TVC is under production and will be on air shortly.
