Launches Sony Pictures – Stream and aims to provide Prime members with an extensive slate of multi-genre content offerings

Prime Video partners with Sony Pictures Television
Prime Video has announced that it has entered a distribution agreement with Sony Pictures Television, to launch Sony Pictures – Stream on Prime Video Channels. 
 
Curated for Indian customers, the entertainment marketplace aims to offer a vast repertoire of entertainment including Sony Pictures Entertainment's international selection of blockbuster movies, timeless classics and TV shows. 
 
With an add-on subscription to Sony Pictures – Stream on Prime Video Channels, Prime members will be able to avail an extensive slate of multi-genre content offerings. 
 
Vivek Srivastava, head – Prime Video Channels, India, said, “We are delighted to launch Sony Pictures – Stream, a new Prime Video Channel curated specifically for our customers in India. The collaboration allows Sony Pictures Entertainment to make its vast and beloved library available in India at a single destination, reaching customers across the length and breadth of the country via Prime Video Channels. Within a short period, Prime Video Channels have offered the perfect launchpad for several international streaming services and studios, helping them reach an incredibly wide audience across India.
