Mumbai-based performance marketing agency Django has launched JAG AI, a productised onboarding and implementation service built around Anthropic's Claude AI platform. Designed for startup marketing teams, D2C brands and growing businesses, the offering aims to help organisations integrate AI across key marketing functions through a one-time setup engagement rather than an ongoing agency arrangement.
Positioned as a hybrid product-and-service model, JAG AI combines Claude AI's capabilities with Django's marketing expertise. The agency configures Claude for a brand's specific requirements across seven core marketing areas: brand voice and tone, content creation, SEO, website copy, influencer outreach, performance creatives, and business intelligence and industry trends.
Unlike standard AI implementations, Django says each setup is tailored to the client's business, workflows and communication requirements rather than relying on generic templates. The engagement runs over 30 to 45 days and includes a dedicated Claude Projects workspace, team training workshops and a comprehensive Marketing Playbook document.
The service is offered at a one-time fee of INR 7,50,000 plus applicable taxes, with no retainer, recurring commitment or long-term agency dependency.
Explaining the thinking behind the launch, Shivang Shah, founder, Django and JAG AI, said: "We've spent six years building marketing systems for over 250 brands. At some point it became clear that the real bottleneck for most marketing teams isn't talent — it's time spent on work that AI should be doing. JAG AI is our way of packaging what we know into something any brand can own and run themselves. Claude is the best AI for marketing work right now. We're the people who know how to set it up properly."
The JAG AI framework covers several aspects of modern marketing operations. For brand voice and tone, the system develops a master prompt structure incorporating audience personas, competitor positioning and brand guidelines. Content creation workflows include prompt libraries for Instagram, LinkedIn, email campaigns, blog content and content calendar planning.
For SEO, the setup incorporates keyword research frameworks, metadata generation, content briefing and on-page optimisation workflows. Website copy capabilities cover landing pages, product pages, call-to-action testing and announcement messaging. The influencer marketing module includes campaign brief creation, outreach scripts, collaboration documentation and follow-up sequences.
The performance marketing component focuses on Meta and Google advertising copy, creative briefing systems, hook development and A/B testing frameworks. According to Django, these workflows are informed by its experience working with more than 1,000 performance marketing videos. The final area, business intelligence and industry trends, includes competitor analysis, positioning reviews, trend monitoring and insight reporting systems.
Aashay Shah, co-founder, Django and JAG AI, said: "Every brand we speak to has Claude open in a tab somewhere. But the outputs are generic, nothing sounds like the brand, and the team gives up after two weeks. The problem isn't the tool — it's the setup. We've spent the better part of the last year building these systems for ourselves first. What used to take our team four hours per client per week now runs automatically. JAG AI is us handing that system over to brands who want to run it themselves."
The service is aimed at funded startups at Series A stage and below, D2C brands with monthly marketing spends ranging from INR 50,000 to INR 50 lakhs, and SMEs with established in-house marketing teams. Django notes that the offering is not intended for enterprise businesses requiring custom technical integrations or organisations seeking fully outsourced content production.
Discussing the implementation process, Vrudhi Doshi, founder, JAG AI, said: "What we've built is not a product you buy and figure out yourself. The setup takes 30 to 45 days because we go deep — we audit the brand's existing content, map their team's actual workflow, and build every prompt against real scenarios before we hand anything over. The training workshop at the end is where brands really see the difference. Their team goes from skeptical about AI to using it confidently in a few hours. That handover moment is what JAG AI is designed around."
The name JAG AI is derived from the Hindi and Romany word 'Jag', meaning 'to awaken'. The branding extends Django's identity, with the company positioning the new offering as a way to help marketing teams develop internal AI capabilities and operational efficiency.
Founded in 2019, Django has grown to a team of more than 90 people and has worked with over 250 brands across D2C, FMCG, finance, fashion, wellness and lifestyle sectors. The agency specialises in performance content, influencer marketing, paid media and brand strategy, with JAG AI representing its latest expansion into AI-enabled marketing services.
