Nupur Sarda has joined Forest Essentials as head of retail marketing following an eight-year stint at Vahdam India. At Vahdam India, Sarda led global PR, influencer marketing and social media, contributing to the brand’s international reach and digital presence. During this period, she played a role in positioning Vahdam India as a prominent homegrown global brand. She was also the company’s first angel investor, backing the business in its early stages.

Reflecting on her tenure, Sarda described Vahdam India as “disruptive, global, and formative”, and acknowledged founder Bala Sarda for his trust and mentorship. She noted that the experience shaped key aspects of her professional journey across global communications, consumer engagement and digital storytelling.

In her announcement, which was shared on LinkedIn, Sarda expressed enthusiasm for her new role at Forest Essentials. She referred to the brand as one she has long admired and has been a loyal consumer of. She thanked Karishma Manga Bedi and Ira Kukrety for the opportunity to lead the retail marketing function, which will focus on strengthening customer experience, enhancing brand storytelling and supporting the evolution of the retail footprint across India.

With more than a decade of experience in marketing and communications, Sarda has worked across public relations, social media, influencer programmes and content strategy. Her background also includes roles at nearbuy and ICICI Bank, contributing to her broad understanding of brand-building and digital engagement.
