The OTT platform plans on launching the feature for stand-up specials, unscripted content and other live content

Netflix to foray into live streaming
As per media reports, Netflix, the OTT platform, is launching a live streaming feature. 
 
Currently, the OTT platform is working on the live streaming option for stand-up comedy specials, unscripted content and other live content.
 
It aims to use the feature for live voting in its competition series and talent contests. 
 
Media sources stated that the OTT platform, hasn't confirmed any official launch date for the feature as it is in the intital stages of development. It has already experimented with the live feature for its original shows, The Circle and Love Is Blind. 
 
In addition to this feature, Netflix plans to launch its ad endowed vertical by the end of this year.
