Commenting on the win, Dhunji Wadia, managing partner JWT said, “Teach India was the sole Indian finalist, it’s a matter of great pride that it has also gone on to win Gold.  This is especially encouraging as more and more clients are seeking greater accountability and effectiveness in the marketplace.”

“This is a signal honour as the AME had a 2 step judging process.  We had to run the gauntlet first at the AsiaPacific level and only then could we be eligible for competing internationally.  It was a tough jury list and it is gratifying to finish as Gold winners”, said Sushobhan Mukherjee, vice president and strategic planning director, JWT Mumbai.

Overall, the International AME GrandJury awarded one Grand Trophy, three AME Platinum Trophies, as well as nine Gold International AME Awards, sixteen Silver Awards, and eighteen Bronze Awards.  Twenty-seven entries received AME Finalist Certificates.

SapientNitro of South Brisbane, Australia was awarded the prestigious International AME Grand Trophy for their entry “Best Job in the World” for Tourism Queensland - Islands of the Great Barrier Reef, winning in the Tourism category. To see all the winners click here.

The AME Awards for Advertising & Marketing Effectiveness is part of the New York Festivals and established in 1994 to recognize creative and successful marketing strategies across all industry verticals.
