GlobalLogic elevates Pooja Mathur to global growth marketing role

Mathur joined GlobalLogic in 2023 as head of marketing for APAC, where she contributed to the company's AI-led enterprise transformation agenda.

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company and leader in digital engineering, has appointed Pooja Mathur as global head of growth marketing. The elevation reflects the organisation’s continued focus on strengthening its global marketing leadership as it accelerates its AI-led growth strategy and expands its positioning as an AI-native engineering partner.

In her expanded global role, Mathur will oversee GlobalLogic’s industry and service line marketing across international markets. Her responsibilities will include driving demand generation, strengthening account-based marketing frameworks, and deepening engagement across partners and ecosystems, including synergies within the wider Hitachi Group. She will also focus on aligning marketing initiatives more closely with business outcomes, supporting pipeline acceleration and revenue growth across key global markets.

The appointment underscores GlobalLogic’s emphasis on integrating marketing strategy with measurable business impact as it navigates a shift towards AI-centric enterprise transformation. The company continues to position itself at the intersection of digital engineering and AI-driven product development, with marketing playing a central role in communicating this evolution to enterprise clients.

LuJean Smith, chief marketing officer, GlobalLogic, said, “Pooja’s elevation to lead growth marketing globally is a testament to her ability to translate strategy into measurable business impact. She brings a rare combination of market insight, customer-centric thinking, and execution excellence that is critical as we scale our AI-led transformation journey. Her leadership will be key in driving the next phase of our global growth.”

The leadership change also reflects the growing strategic contribution of India within GlobalLogic’s global operations. Piyush Jha, group vice-president and head, Asia Pacific (APAC), GlobalLogic, highlighted Mathur’s regional impact and broader organisational significance. He said, “Pooja has consistently delivered strong impact across APAC, combining strategic clarity with execution excellence to strengthen our marketing engine and advance our AI-led positioning. I’m confident she will now play a pivotal role in driving our global growth agenda. Her appointment also reflects the strength of leadership emerging from India within GlobalLogic—not just as a delivery hub, but as a center for building global capabilities and leadership.”

Mathur joined GlobalLogic in 2023 as head of marketing for APAC, where she led strategic alignment with business leadership and strengthened customer and employee engagement across the region. She also contributed to advancing the company’s AI narrative across media and external platforms, and played a role in flagship engagement initiatives such as Shankhnaad, focused on Global Capability Centres (GCCs).

Mathur said, “GlobalLogic is at a defining moment as enterprises move toward AI-native transformation. Having seen firsthand the momentum across APAC, I’m excited to take on this global role and build scalable, insight-led marketing programs that drive real business impact across the key industries. Our focus will be on creating measurable demand, strengthening ecosystem partnerships, and bringing GlobalLogic’s engineering-led innovation story to life across markets”

She brings over 19 years of experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy and communications, having previously held leadership roles at EY, where she led marketing initiatives for Private Equity and M&A businesses, alongside flagship firm alumni and client programmes in global environments.

The appointment comes as GlobalLogic continues to refine its positioning as an AI-native, AI-applied engineering organisation. Its strategy is underpinned by the VelocityAI platform and supported by the broader Hitachi Group ecosystem, with increasing focus on Physical AI and real-world transformation of enterprise systems.
