FanTV secures $3 million funding

The Sui blockchain-based content platform uses AI to offer users an engaging content consumption experience while helping creators own and monetise their content.

FanTV secures $3 million funding

FanTV, an AI-powered content platform on the Sui blockchain, has received $3 million in funding. The fresh cash infusion is expected to help FanTV further its goal of transforming digital content creation with AI tools. The participants in this funding round included Mysten Labs, Cypher Capital, CoinSwitch Ventures, and Illuminati Capital. Earlier, the company had raised $5.5 million from investors, including Multicoin Capital, Woodstock Fund, Krafton, IOSG Ventures, Pravega Ventures, and Tykhe Block Ventures.

Led by founder and CEO Prashan Agarwal, the former CEO of the popular music streaming platform Gaana, FanTV is trying to make AI-powered content creation accessible to all. Under Agarwal's leadership, Gaana grew to 18 crore users and raised $115 million from Tencent.

FanTV has processed three crore transactions so far, making it the largest AI-led content platform across blockchains. The platform has 80 lakh users and 80,000 creators who produce music, videos, podcasts, web series, and vlogs using AI. The platform supports established influencers as well as emerging talent. This includes CryptoIndia, BlockFuel, MrBreadSmith, and Bitcoin educator Kashif Raza, TrevinVSNFT-Sui’s top content creator.

“Creativity lives within everyone, but traditional content creation barriers have kept too many voices silent. FanTV’s AI tools are democratising content creation, allowing anyone with a creative vision to bring it to life. The next evolution of social media won’t be defined by passive consumption—it will be driven by millions of creators expressing their unique voices through AI-powered tools. This is where FanTV is leading the revolution,” said Prashan Agarwal, CEO of FanTV.

FanTV allows users to support creators through digital tipping and personalised Creator Coins. Creators retain ownership of their content, giving them control and financial benefits. The platform also provides paid AI-powered content creation features and engagement rewards, letting users buy credits for premium AI tools and launch their digital tokens.

Sui co-founder Adeniyi Abioudin said, “AI and crypto are already converging in daily use cases. While others are still talking, FanTV has built it—AI agents for content creation, executed at incredible speed.”

The fresh funds are expected to help FanTV develop advanced AI tools for creators and expand its global creator network and user base.

According to Bill Qian of Cypher Capital, integrating AI agents into content creation signifies a shift in how digital content is produced and distributed. “FanTV’s AI technology stands out by making professional-grade content creation accessible to millions. What impressed us most was their ability to combine advanced AI capabilities with an intuitive user experience, resulting in unprecedented creator growth,” Qian said.
