Emvies 2022: Wavemaker wins 'Agency of the Year' and Grand Emvie

HUL won the 'Client of the Year' accolade

Wavemaker bagged the 'Media Agency of the Year’ title at The Advertising Club’s Emvies 2022 which were held in Mumbai on 25 March. The awards celebrated media effectivness campaigns from 2020 and 2021.
 
The agency bagged a Grand Emvie, eight Gold, 20 Silver and 12 Bronze metals to end with a tally of 395 points. 
 
The Grand Emvie was for Cadbury Celebrations' 'Not just a Cadbury ad' in the 'Best Response to Covid-19 category'.  The entry also bagged five Gold Emvies.
 
Hindustan Unilever was awarded the 'Media Client of the Year' accolade with nine Gold, 12 Silver and 11 Bronze metals. 
 
Mindshare finished second among the agencies, with a total of 375 points which included 9 Gold, 17 Silver and 14 Bronze Emvies.
 
It won two Gold Emvies each for Dove's '#StopTheBeautyTest', Boost's 'Stamina Meter - A New Currency in Town' and Lifebuoy's 'Delivering Hygiene One Meal at a Time'. It also won a Gold each for Castrol Activ's 'Mechanic to Super Mechanic', Axe's 'Got the Right Click' and HUL's 'Making Small Decisions With Our Head and Big Decisions with our Heart'.
 
Lodestar UM was the third most awarded agency with six Gold, five Silver, and four Bronze Emvies.
 
Four of the Gold wins were for Amul and the other was for Mumbai Police's 'The Punishing Signal'.
 
The agency also won the Emvie for Good for Mumbai Police's 'The Punishing Signal'.
