Maxus has landed the media duties for Essar Group's corporate account, estimated to be around $ 9 million. This is the first time the conglomerate will launch a corporate campaign aimed at improving consumer and investor perceptions of the company, possibly going along with the current trend of business houses such as The Aditya Birla Group and The Times of India rolling out high visibility campaigns. Though, it is not clear if a pitch was called, Starcom was also believed to be in the race for the account.
