Campari Group has appointed Publicis Media’s Zenith to handle its $88m (£65m) global media planning and buying account following a competitive pitch supported by Mediasense.

WPP Media is the incumbent on the account with various agencies handling different markets.

Launched in April 2025, the review covered the UK, US, France, Germany, Italy and Australia.

The drinks brand owns Italian apéritif Aperol, as well as its namesake Campari, Cinzano and Wild Turkey.

Campari first picked WPP to handle all of Campari Group’s advertising work in 2017. This included advertising, media, PR, digital, data management, research, live communication and branding services.

The appointment saw a bespoke unit created called Team Campari, based in Milan near Campari’s headquarters.

Campaign understands that Campari works with Dentsu Creative on its creative account in the UK.

Publicis Media and WPP Media declined to comment, and Campari did not respond to Campaign’s request for comment.
