Insurance brand Aviva has picked Saatchi & Saatchi to handle its creative account following a competitive pitch.
Saatchi & Saatchi took on AMV BBDO and Havas in the final stage. Incumbent Adam & Eve\TBWA (formerly Adam & Eve/DDB) declined to repitch for the business.
Ingenuity+ led the pitch process, which was announced this summer, with a spokesperson for Aviva saying: “The world around us is shifting fast, and it’s essential we evolve to stay connected with the people we serve.”
Competing agency AMV BBDO had the Aviva account for almost 10 years prior to Adam & Eve\TBWA.
Aviva worked with Adam & Eve\TBWA for a decade. The creative shop produced work like “The night job”, “It takes Aviva" and “The Aviva extreme driving challenge”.
Publicis Media handles the brand's media account.
Aviva and the competing agencies declined to comment, and Ingenuity+ has been contacted for comment
