Bates 141 hires Jayanto Banerjee as executive VP

Jayanto Banerjee, general manager at Euro RSCG, Dubai is set to join Bates 141 as executive vice president and will be responsible for overseeing work on the agency's growing portfolio of brands in Delhi and other special projects.

Jayanto Banerjee, general manager at Euro RSCG, Dubai is set to join Bates 141 as executive vice president and will be responsible for overseeing work on the agency's growing portfolio of brands in Delhi and other special projects.

Banjo, as he's better known, is an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj and began his career in advertising in account management with Lintas India, Mumbai and Calcutta.  He has spent the last 13 years with Euro RSCG in India and Middle East. Before taking over as head of EURO RSCG Dubai, he was the Strategic Planning Director for the Middle East Network supporting six offices in the region. In a career that has criss-crossed between account management and strategic planning, some of the clients that Banjo has worked on include Reckitt Benckiser, Danone Water, Air France, Jaguar, Peugeot, Microsoft, Philips, Lacoste, Unilever, J W Marriot and Radisson Hotels, Kinetic & Bajaj two wheelers.
